When did you start ffxiv, and why?

Having played all other existing MMOs, there is only ffxiv left to try. Funny story is that I installed the game some time ago, but uninstalled it after 20 minutes because the graphics were so appalling. Since then, I gave it a second shot and never regretted that!

What does your character name mean, if anything?

I have been using Japanese names for my in-game characters ever since I started playing MMOs, and it just kinda sticks. It’s only fitting for a game like ffxiv. 

Tell us a memorable experience in ffxiv!

The first two day were extremely memorable. Several players ran up to me, emoted or gave me free minions (/eye Laila). The game community is shockingly friendly. Coming from other toxic MMO games, it felt very refreshing and new. Certainly the main storyline is well written, but I especially enjoyed the side story line of Detective Hildebrandt, which is very memorable and humorous.

What else do you play right now or in general?

Destiny 2, League of Legends, Core keeper, Super Auto Pets, Baldur’s Gate…to name a few. In general I like MMO/MOBA/Strategy RPG

What is your favorite Final Fantasy Game?

FFXIV…if the rumor is true, I will need 3 years to finish the main story line XD

What do you enjoy doing in ffxiv?

So far exploring new places, collecting minions, dungeons and raids and finding interesting side quests. I might enjoy PvP but have yet to try it.

What are you missing in ffxiv? Classes, Housing Items, … ?

Hard to say, I have yet to reach lvl 90 with a class, am homeless and there is so much left to explore *overwhelmed*

Is ffxiv your first mmo? If not, what was your first mmo?

First MMO was Ragnarok Online, shortly followed by World of Warcraft, played on its release date. The good old WoW community was less toxic as it is now. 

What are your RL activities that you enjoy?

Food…good food…I can be lured by any delicious food~~ I’m a huge foodie: the first app I made was about food, I travel for food, I blog and review restaurants. I’ll probably win a quiz about food. Other activities: software development, biking, anime, reading, dancing, watching shows, learning languages, drawing, inventing a time freeze machine.

Do you have pets?

No pets T_T to compensate for lack of pets in RL, I gotta collect more minions!
