When did you start ffxiv, and why?

Started at the end of Stormblood. Ryve was kinda hyped about Shadowbringers and I tried it for the first time. Dreydn and other friends also tried it out at the same time. I believe another reason for going to FF14 was the kinda depressing “raid”-group we got into in WoW after a long break.

Tell us a memorable experience in ffxiv!

The story, Hildebrandt, the story around Palace of the Dead and raiding are all memorable. More specific experiences? Working towards clearing a savage/ultimate and having those super-close moments at the end, where everybody is razor-focused and strained at the same time.

What else do you play right now or in general?

Oh boy. A lot of mostly everything. Shooters (L4D, Payday, Outriders), RPGs (Demon Souls: Remastered, Disco Elysium), Indie (Fights In Tight Spaces, Valheim, Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth) and Fighting Games (Dragon Ball FighterZ, Guilty Gear: Strive). I do prefer Co-op games over anything though.

FF7

And what is your favorite Final Fantasy Game?

FF14… hard to compare MMO to Singleplayer though. FF7 for singleplayer, since it’s … the only other one that I finished.

What do you enjoy doing in ffxiv?

(Progress-)Raiding at high end with competent people. Pushing myself to refine my class. Zoning out to gathering/crafting.

What are you missing in ffxiv? Classes, Housing Items, … ?

… the 2nd Ultimate of Shadowbringers that didn’t make it in because of pandemic (;_;)

Is ffxiv your first mmo? If not, what was your first mmo?

World of Warcraft was my first mmo, which was … 16 years ago. Thanks for that question. Stuck with WoW occasionally with a good amount of break due to school. I did try other MMO’s over time, like Aion, GW2, StarWars: The Old Republic and Wildstar.

What songs do you enjoy from ffxiv?

Well, I hate none of them. Seriously. If I got to name a few … Trial music is good (Ravana, Suzaku, Sephirot, *Lady of the Moon*). Music from Ultimate fights are unique, as in, they always sync up with the fight which is pretty cool.
