On a fateful Sunday evening the Fight Club members would assemble to find the strongest among them all. Everyone had practiced as much as they could and now was the time to determine… Who emerges victorious?
Also I got around recording all matches and feature some of them here. Small mistake though: I didn’t record my own voice.
Here is the list of the participants with their teams
Participant | Team |
---|---|
Laila Arrbyte | Beerus / Frieza / Kid Buu (Team Eco-Friendly) |
Jasar | Krillin / Teen Gohan / Goku GT (The Kid’s Table) |

Roxvilya | Beerus / Krillin / Majin Buu (Team Colourful) |
Radca | Cpt. Ginyu / Android 16 / Muten Roshi (The Pink Panthers) |
Mirel / Sunnie | Kefla / Bardock / Super Saiyan Vegeta (Only cool Saiyans) |
MidSommar | Videl / Goku Black / Trunks (Videl and Friends) |
Kong | Gogeta SS4 / Gogeta SSGSS / Broly (DBS) (Monkey Power) |
Todi | Jiren / Janemba / Android 21 (The Antagonists) |

Round 1 saw only 3 matches after a dropout by Malkier.
Roxvilya tried his best against Radca, but Radca’s weird lineup quickly overwhelmed him. But Rox managed to draw blood and we would later see that the previous champion’s blood in the water draws other predators.
The second game would be completely open in the predictions. Many of the more senior fight club members saw this game going to Laila due to her unorthodox fighting style that is hard to prepare against, but in the end a calm and unfazed Sunnie would take the series 2-0.
The last game I would list as one hell of a ride for the spectator crowd. Not only would Jasar show moves that put many experienced players to shame, but also -against all predictions- managed to take a game away from Mid and would establish himself as one of the big breakout stars of this tournament.
Back to 8 matches in round 2.
Jace as first in her group waited patiently for the winner of the first round, but her downfall would come quickly as she managed to summon Shen Long while being so ahead, that the confusion on what to wish for opened her up for Radca to seize his chance at victory.
Shadow and Ryve had to face each other in round 2 after being sparring partners for the longest time. In this game no ground was given freely and the two combatants would bite and claw their way through, but in the end Ryve made it out of this round bloodied but happy.
With the full momentum coming from the first round Mirel would rolling over Kong taking the first match and bringing Kong down to 100 HP on his last character, almost closing out the match…, but Kong managed to cling on and take down all three characters on his Gogeta. In match 3 Kong managed to barely take the series in the second 2-1 of the evening.
Last but not least, the featured game of round 2: Todi vs Midsommar. I was sadly not capable of recording the first match, which Todi took without having to use his third character. All predictions pointing to a swift win for the tournament favourite, Mid planted himself firmly, faced the spectators, the analysts, the veterans and said “Justice Rush, Bitch.” taking the series in the biggest upset of the evening.
Another upset for this evening would be the loss of the former champion Radca against Ryve. Softened up from his long workday and his already long road from round 1, Radca would meet a fresh Ryve who analyzed Radca’s moves beforehand and was more than capable of countering everything that the menace in pink could throw at him.
Aiming for the next upset Midsommar would be facing his fellow Group D member and regular sparring partner Kong on the other side of the bracket. Which would become a friendly game for both participants Kong was able to utilize his Gogeta Blue and Broly to overpower Mid’s Trunks and Videl through sheer force of monkey and end the series 2-0.
In the semi-finals Group D members Radca and Midsommar would meet each other once again.
This time would be no different to the earlier matches. Radca with the perfect reads on how to stop the aggression put out by Midsommar, would drop only one game out of the Bo5.
The finals saw two people eager to win it all: Ryve and Kong. Team Goku vs Team Monkey.
See for yourself how it went down:
Again a big thank you to all participants who made the event as enjoyable as it was. Loads of fun moments were had and the fight club moved again closer together as we were battling it out over the length of 1 month.
Let’s see what the next event will bring!
